There are many ways we can 'have new ears' - new ways of opening ourselves to the truth of God so that our hearts can be transformed; the Scriptures, maybe a good book, a podcast, a talk with a wise friend, maybe a walk on the beach and whatever else you would want to add to the list.

But if we really believe that God changes lives and God change hearts and if we really desire to be followers of Jesus Christ then whatever else you want to add to the list, we need to open our 'ears' to hear God's word to us.
